The following is the speech of H.E. Anna Bossman, Ambassador of Ghana to France and Special Representative to UNESCO on the occasion of screening of Ulysses from Ghana in UNESCO
SSCC Policy Advisory Board member, Mme. Hedva Ser is one of leading proponents of the UNESCO cultural diversity programme, as enshrined in 2005 Convention on. Cultural Diversity, through her symbol of peace of UNESCO – the sculpture Tree of Peace. Moreover, that statue, as well as her work on Art Camps throughout the world, have prompted Andorra to propose to UNESCO a programme which was supported by 77 countries called Road to Peace.
Mme. Ser also acts as an adviser to SSCC docufictions, both on Ulysses from Ghana, which was already executed in 2021, and also on the planned production of eight further docufictions or fictions to be produced in countries of South America, Africa, Arab World, Asia and Oceania.
